MOISTURE, CHEMICALS, SALT SPRAY, CORROSION, THERMAL EXPANSION, DUST, and ORGANIC GROWTH can penetrate exposed electronics and eventually cause damage to circuitry. Components will fail and costly maintenance will be required.  The solution is Protect-R-Shield, the optically clear silicone elastomer conformal coating.
Protect-R-Shield offers maximum protection and clarity for LED applications and printed circuit boards.  Third-party testing proves the consistent non-yellowing clarity of the Protect-R-Shield coating through thermal cycling, heat, humidity, aging, and UV exposure.

Protect-R-Shield is a unique one part, 100% solids, non-yellowing, optically clear silicone elastomer which has been developed specifically for use as a
conformal coating on LED printed circuit boards. It does not have any VOCs and is extremely friendly to the environment. PRS has patented properties
allowing the coating to be completely applied over the LEDs and circuit boards to form a highly effective and protective shield resulting in maximum
protection from the elements and contaminants. This process seals the components and excels in protection from moisture, salt spray, and extreme
temperatures which greatly reduces the risk of costly premature failure. The PRS conformal coating is selectively applied by computer robotic control.
Protect-R-Shield is a crystal clear elastomeric coating/encapsulating material that is formulated to offer outstanding insulation performance over a
wide range of temperature (-65°C to 200°C). The material exhibits excellent adhesion to most printed circuit board substrates including metal core
and Fr4. Protect-R-Shield will not yellow or break down from UV over time and exposure to an outdoor environment. PRS offers excellent flexibility
and coefficient of thermal expansion/contraction.
